10th Entry: SHE SAID

WHAT'S GOOD PEOPLE?!?!? Been a min. since I posted....however...I'd like to say the following thing. If you read my last post, you'd recall I hosted a show at the Ultra Lounge....IT WAS AWESOME!!!! CROWDED!! SURPRISES!! AND GOOD MUSIC!!!!

Well, one of those surprises arrived in the form of "Certified Organic", by way of my brotha C. RICH (a.k.a "AL B. SURE NIGGA WITH THE HAIR ALL WAVY") . He killed it with a preview from his upcoming project, as we then killed the stage with our 2010 classic "I GOT YOU (2010 REMIX)".

So in this case, it's only right that I leak you all a joint that was originally slated for the project, but we figured y'all should hear it. So here we are:

6th Entry: Thoughts on the world now... 11/05/12

Hey everybody. So as you know, or if you follow the news from these pasts few days, Hurricane Sandy has hit the Eastern part of the United States...and has drastically made it's effect towards the rest of our country. So I'm sending my prayers out to my peoples living in New York, New Jersey and the rest of the Eastern time zone.  Everything will be fine. Just pray and keep pushing.

Also, in a matter of 24 hours, election day arrives. And as a U.S. citizen,  I'm encouraging my people (my United States bretheren) to get out and vote. It's a lot of issues that we face in today's society. And honestly, not all will be fixed in a matter of four years I'll admit. However, the saying goes "closed mouths don't get fed". So if you're not at least speaking change into existance, what gives you the right to complain about the issues at hand? Besides, no one is going to do for us what we won't do for ourselves. So take some time out Nov. 6th 2012, (whether Democrat, Republican, Independent)  and make that vote.

What's going on people? To those of you who are reading this, you are about to experience something so cold. So....ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF!!!!!! MY NAME IS..........

D2G


D2G stands for Di'Angelo 2 Grand (or 2000). Some call me 2G DA GREAT....Some call me 2G for short. You can even call me 2. I respond to either or. I am an emcee (that's a rapper for those who are not fond of or familiar with hip hop termanology) from the Southside streets of Chicago, Illinois. Eastisde to be exact. I've been making music for about 8 years on the underground. But I've been in love with hip hop all my life.


But enough about my past....ONTO THE FUTURE!! You are now intuned...to the thoughts and views of me and what I'm going to give you. I'll be updating you at LEAST one a week with the latest as far as my music and it's many ventures. Be sure to tune in for upcoming peformances, music videos, personal/studio vlogs, and so on. You'll also see my sick twisted view on things in life. (Trust me...it's comedy).
